Oxford United are reportedly looking at a loan move for Ipswich Town striker Ali Al-Hamadi this summer.
According to Indonesian publication Bolasport, the 22-year-old forward is not part of Kieran McKenna’s first-team plans for next season in the Premier League.
Al-Hamadi joined the Tractor Boys from League Two club AFC Wimbledon during the January transfer window earlier this year.
The Iraq international played 14 times for Ipswich scoring four goals as the Suffolk side earned promotion to the Premier League.
Prior to his move to Ipswich, he scored 17 goals for the Dons across all competitions in the 2023/24 season.
The deal was a record transfer amount for AFC Wimbledon and included future incentives which could see the transfer become a record amount for a League Two player.
He joined the Dons from Wycombe Wanderers in January 2023 on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
