BILLY Bodin has confirmed his exit from Oxford United.
The 32-year-old is out of contract this summer, and posted on Twitter to announce his departure.

He said: “My time at Oxford United has come to an end. After such a great start to the season on a personal level, it was hard finding myself out the team for the back end of the season, but that’s football.
“And to end up with nine goals and a promotion was all worth it. A big thank you to all my teammates and a big thank you to the fans for your support over the last three years. Twenty-five goals and a promotion later, all the best next season.”

Bodin netted 25 goals in 107 games during a three-year spell with United, having joined as a free agent from Preston North End.
He scored nine goals in 41 games this season, with his last strike being the audacious lob in the 5-0 victory against Peterborough United last month, an effort that was shortlisted for the League One goal of the month.
