MARCUS Dinanga’s hat-trick helped see off the 10 men of Oxford City, who are now 11 points from safety in the Vanarama National League.

Luke Hannant gave home side Gateshead the lead from the penalty spot, before Andre Burley picked up his second yellow card with 35 minutes on the clock.

Dinanga then netted a second half hat-trick to leave the Hoops without a win in six.

Burley was adjudged to have fouled Dinanga in the box, and picked up his first yellow card, as Hannant netted from 12 yards.

It went from bad to worse for Burley, who collected his second booking when he stopped a quick free kick being taken.
