OXFORD City threw away a two-goal lead at fellow Vanarama National League strugglers Kidderminster Harriers, to leave Worcestershire with nothing.

Josh Parker scored with a header, and then from the penalty spot, to ensure the Hoops led 2-0 at half-time.

However, the Harriers fought back in the second period, with the comeback beginning shortly before the hour mark when veteran striker Amari Morgan-Smith pulled a goal back.

Jack Lambert then found an equaliser with 74 minutes on the clock, before substitute Gold Omotayo completed the turnaround four minutes later.

The defeat leaves the Hoops bottom of the National League and five points adrift of safety.

Prior to the game, the club announced a triple signing, with all three players named on the bench.

American centre back Giles Phillips has arrived on a free transfer after leaving League of Ireland Premier Division side Waterford, while right back Harry Birtwistle has joined on loan until the end of the season from Premier League team Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Teenage striker Harvey Greenslade has also joined on loan until the end of the season, from Sky Bet League One outfit Bristol Rovers.

Both Phillips and Greenslade made their Hoops debuts from the bench at Kidderminster.

Ross Jenkins’ side make the trip to Woking on Tuesday night, to face a team who sit a place and three points above them in the National League table.
