Oxford United's home game against Reading later this season has been changed to an earlier kick-off time after consultation with police.

The Sky Bet League One game was due to be played on February 3 at 3pm but has now been moved to 12:30pm.

Last week's clash on Tuesday night (December 12) ended in a 1-1 draw at the Select Car Leasing stadium.

Before the game, 10 people were arrested in Reading's town centre as two section 35 dispersal orders were put in place.

The arrests were made in relation to violent disorder with eight of them being men from Oxfordshire.

Police also released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection to a public order incident on Friar Street and Station Road in Reading on the day between 6.45pm and 7pm.

After the game, Superintendent Lee Barnham said:  “It has been a pleasure to once again work with Reading Football Club, British Transport Police, travel companies and licensed premises to ensure this match took place safely and enjoyably for those attending.

"Those arrested reflect a small minority of those in the town centre ahead of the game, with the match itself taking place without incident.

"Officers will continue to support these local derbies and look forward to seeing many of the fans again for their next meeting at Oxford in February."

If you recognise the man call 101 or make a report on Thames Valley Police website, quoting reference number 43230556986.
