OXFORD United will host Grimsby Town in the second round of the Emirates FA Cup after the Mariners won their first round replay.
The Sky Bet League Two side drew 1-1 with Slough Town in the initial tie earlier this month, however a 7-2 victory tonight sealed a meeting with United on the weekend of December 2.
Rekeil Pyke and Danny Rose gave Grimsby an early 2-0 lead, however the visitors hit back through Tyrese Dyce and David Ogbonna.
Pyke nudged the Mariners in front just before half-time, with Arthur Gnahoua resorting the two-goal advantage in the 65th minute.
Grimsby then scored three times in a five-minute spell late on as another Gnahoua goal was sandwiched in between strikes from Alex Hunt and Jamie Andrews.

The U’s made it to the second round thanks to a 2-0 win at Maidenhead United of the Vanarama National League. Billy Bodin netted a brace, with a goal coming in each half.
United have not faced Grimsby since a first round FA Cup victory in Lincolnshire back in 2014.
James Roberts scored twice on his debut, with Danny Rose adding the third goal in a 3-1 win.
Winning sides in the second round will receive £67,000 from the competition’s prize fund.
