Two Oxford United players have been named in the EFL League One Team of the Week.

Cameron Brannagan and Ruben Rodrigues made the team after both getting on the scoresheet in United’s 3-0 win against Exeter City.

The team is powered by WhoScored ratings from the weekend.

Midfielder Brannagan picked up an 8.64 rating after scoring twice from the penalty spot.

The 27-year-old also struck the woodwork whilst also playing his role in the U’s clean sheet making three clearances, two tackles and one interception.

Scoring United’s opener, Rodrigues scored his first goal for the club and was also unfortunate not to register an assist having created two goalscoring chances.

The 27-year-old made four interceptions and three tackles in a player of the match performance, recording an 8.77 rating.

United moved up to second in the league after collecting all three points.

Blackpool, Derby, Charlton, Stevenage, Peterborough, Bristol Rovers and Port Vale also saw players make the cut among the week’s top-rated players.
