BANBURY United ended a run of two defeats with a goalless draw at home to Alfreton Town.
Puritans loanee Dominic Revan made a fantastic clearance shortly before the half hour mark, heading the ball clear from danger.
The hosts then almost took the lead on the cusp of half-time when a Lawson D’Ath free kick hit the post.

Eight minutes into the second period, Alfreton defender Shaun Brisley was shown a red card for an elbow.
Opportunities fell to the Puritans, however they couldn’t capitalise against the 10 men.
Deep in stoppage time, Louis Hall worked himself into the penalty box, with his cross finding Jack Tompkins at the back post, however he fired over.
The point leaves Mark Jones’ side 20th in Vanarama National League North.
