OXFORD City’s preparation for the Vanarama National League continued with a 2-2 draw on the road.

The Hoops came back twice against National League North side Gloucester City, with Josh Ashby scoring a double.

The hosts opened the scoring after 16 minutes, when Danny Wright was played through on goal and slotted past Chris Haigh.

Six minutes later though, Ashby fired the Hoops level.

Nine minutes into the second half, Canice Carroll saw a header cleared off the line, but the home side regained the lead when Harry Pinchard curled a shot into the top corner.

Ashby levelled again when he fired home a free kick.

Banbury United edged past Alvechurch, with all the goals coming in the second half.

Tope Obadeyi hit the inside of the post in the first half for the Puritans, before a trialist gave them the lead.

Shay Willock equalised, however Ken Charles bagged the winner.
