MATTY Taylor has rejoined Sky Bet League Two side Forest Green Rovers following his Oxford United exit.
The 33-year-old striker, who made 96 appearances for Forest Green between 2011 and 2014, left United this summer as a free agent after he was not offered a new deal by the club.
Only eight players have scored more goal for the U’s in the club’s history, having netted 64 times for his hometown club.

He struggled last season though, scoring six times across all competitions, before joining fellow League One side Port Vale late on deadline day in January.
Taylor went on to score four goals in 14 appearances for the Valiants.
Upon returning to Forest Green, he told the club website: “I’m really excited to be here. It’s been a while, but I can’t wait to get going here again.
“I’ll work hard while I’m here, get myself in the box, get on the end of things and hopefully put the ball in the back of the net.”
Forest Green director of football Allan Steele, added: “Matty is somebody who I’ve admired for a while. I know he has really strong feelings for the club and he’s an incredible person to be around.
“His goalscoring record speaks for itself and I know he will build great relationships with his new teammates.”
Forest Green finished bottom of League One last season, 19 points adrift of survival.
