PEOPLE in Kidlington will vote today with regard to their views on Oxford United’s stadium proposals.

The parish poll asks ‘should Kidlington Parish Council support the building of a stadium for Oxford United Football Club in Kidlington?’.

The results of the poll will not be binding on Oxfordshire County Council’s decision whether to lease land at ‘The Triangle’ to United, for the purpose of building a stadium.

Poll cards have not been issued, while postal votes and proxy voting are not allowed. Voter ID will not be required, but voters will have to identify themselves by their address on the electoral roll.
