LIAM Manning will not be paying special attention to Sky Bet League One’s top scorer when Oxford United come up against him tomorrow.
Peterborough United’s Jonson Clarke-Harris has bagged 22 goals in the third tier so far this season, three more than anyone else in the division.
Only the top three sides in League One have scored more goals than the Posh, and Manning is conscious of the threats they possess.
He said: “They’ve got some really dangerous attacking players.
“When you see the volume of goals they’ve scored, they’ve got some really big threats going forward.
“The biggest thing has to be on us, it has to be what do we need to go into the game and be successful?
“Ultimately, how do we impose our style and how do we take control of the game?
“How do we make sure the momentum is with us and nullify their threats, and bring our strengths to the table?”

On Clarke-Harris, Manning added: “When you look at the depth they’ve got, we know they’ve got multiple threats.
“I don’t think you can concentrate all your energy on just stopping him.
“Of course, you do your work and get people prepped, but you have to be ready for everything.”
