OXFORD United face being without Djavan Anderson for a month, head coach Karl Robinson has confirmed.
The 27-year-old was missing from the squad for last night’s 3-1 defeat at home to Sky Bet League One leaders Plymouth Argyle.
After the game, Robinson said the U’s could be without Anderson for up to four weeks after he suffered a hip flexor injury – the group of muscles towards the front of the hip.
“He’s got an injury to his hip flexor,” said Robinson.
“He had a scan, it could be anything from two to four weeks.”
“I’ve looked at it back and from what I’ve seen, it doesn’t look like it went across the line.”

It means Anderson will almost certainly miss the trip to Cambridge United at the weekend plus the home clash with Bristol Rovers.
He will then potentially be unavailable for the fixtures against Lincoln City, Derby County and Morecambe.
Anderson has made 25 appearances for United since joining from Serie A giants Lazio on summer deadline day, scoring once.
His solitary goal so far for the club came when he opened the scoring in the 3-1 win at Bolton Wanderers, back in October.
