OXFORD Chargers have completed their 2023 National Development League squad with the signing of British youngster Jacob Fellows.

Based in Leicester, Fellows joins the already confirmed Jordan Jenkins, Nathan Stoneman, Henry Atkins, Luke Killeen, Jody Scott and Jacob Clouting in Chargers’ squad which will race in British Speedway’s third tier.

The 21-year-old is no stranger to the Chargers having guested twice during the club’s inaugural campaign at home to Plymouth Centurions and away to Belle Vue Colts.

Upon signing, Fellows said he hopes the team can challenge for silverware this year.

“Oxford’s new track has a really nice shape to it and I really enjoyed guesting for the team last year.

“We’ve got a good team together and hopefully we can have a positive season and look to challenge for some silverware.”

The Chargers’ 2023 campaign begins on Wednesday, May 10, at home to defending National League champions Leicester Lion Cubs.
