OXFORD United have made their third signing of the January transfer window after the arrival of Teddy Mfuni from Warrington Town.
The 18-year-old centre back follows two other defenders through the door at United this month and has signed an 18-month contract with the club.
Mfuni impressed U’s head coach Karl Robinson during a trial period before Christmas.
The defender was released by Sky Bet Championship side Preston North End last summer, prior to joining Warrington.
While at Preston, Mfuni spent time on loan with Witton Albion.
Fellow centre back Stephan Negru joined the U’s on January 1 after agreeing a deal to sign from League of Ireland Premier Division side Shelbourne last month.
Last week, United completed a loan deal for Hull City left back Brandon Fleming.
