TYLER Goodrham says he is not surprised by the rapid progress he is making at Oxford United.
The 19-year-old attacker scored a stoppage time winner during his league debut at home to Cambridge United, before signing a new long-term contract last month.
Goodrham’s latest step was another winning goal, in the Emirates FA Cup tie at Woking this week.
He said: “I always back myself to go out and be as best as I can, I give myself the confidence in training.
“The boys have been really good, I just get on with it and go with the flow.
“We are over the moon with this result, this is a hard place to come.”

“It’s a situation I didn’t think I’d be in but I’m here and there’s always more progression to come.
“There’s an element of luck where I’ve been given my opportunity but I’ve done what I can so far.”
For his goal against Woking, Goodrham collected a pass from Cameron Brannagan, and struck an effort across the goal and into the far corner.
“It was a really big goal for us, and it was good to get the win to keep the momentum going as a team,” the teenager said.
“The boys stuck through it, and we had to grind and push for the result.
“Every credit to Woking because they pushed us all the way to the end.”
