A FORMER Banbury United and Oxford City player has been banned for more than 10 years, for his involvement in spot-fixing during an Emirates FA Cup tie.
Kynan Isaac, who also played for North Leigh and Ardley United, was charged by the FA for ‘intentionally seeking to be cautioned by the referee’ while playing for Stratford Town in November.
The Warwickshire side were facing Shrewsbury Town in a first round clash televised on ITV4.
In the 84th minute, Isaac ‘made a strong challenge which the referee determined merited a yellow card’.
Kynan Isaac has been suspended from all football and football related activity until 11 April 2034 for breaching FA Rules E5.1, F3 and E8.

Data provided to the FA by SkyBet revealed 19 bets were placed on a Stratford player to be carded, with 14 of those relating to Isaac.
The FA found Isaac guilty of placing, or enabling, 347 bets on matches between August 2016 and November 2021.
Of those bets, 50 were on games in competitions in which Isaac’s clubs were participating, and of them, 10 were on his own club, always as part of an accumulator bet.
Isaac played for the Hoops during the 2016/17 season, the Puritans and North Leigh in 2019/20, and Ardley the following campaign.
Isaac, who denied the charges, has been suspended from all football-related activity until April 2034.
