NORTH Leigh secured their place in the first round of the FA Trophy with a penalty shoot-out win at home to Tiverton Town.
Early goals from Levi Steele and Amer Awadh had the Millers 2-0 up within eight minutes at Eynsham Park.
However, Eddie Odhiambo’s side were pegged back in the third qualifying round fixture.
Awadh then scored from close range to make it 3-2 on 68 minutes, before the visitors again came back.

In the shoot-out, North Leigh won 5-3 to seal their place in the FA Trophy first round.
Games are set to take place on October 29.
In Southern League Central Division, Kidlington lost 3-0 at league leaders Ware, a result which sees them slip to fourth. Didcot Town lost 1-0 at Walthamstow.
Thame United’s home fixture against Harlow Town was postponed, with the Essex side in FA Trophy action.
