Banbury Utd 2 (Gordon 79, Fuller pen 90)

Two goals in the last 15 minutes gave Banbury victory in an entertaining British Gas Business Southern League Premier Division clash on Saturday.

After an uneventful first half, the game sprung to life in the 54th minute when a crude challenge on Tommy Kinch left the young Banbury defender to limp out of the game.

The forced changes gave Banbury an edge as Anton Sambrook was brought on, with Ady Fuller crossing to left back and Craig Pearman moving to the right.

In the 79th minute, Banbury, who were well-served by Ollie Stanbridge in midfield, at last took the lead.

Fuller drifted up the left and placed an inch-perfect pass into the six-yard box where Nicky Gordon glanced a header wide of keeper Martin Horsell.

Then in the 90th minute, Stanbridge was fouled just outside the penalty area by Bobby Hopkinson.

The referee gave nothing, so Stanbridge wriggled into the penalty area and was fouled again by Hopkinson, who also handled the ball as he fell.

Fuller slammed home the resulting spot-kick to seal the points.
