Launton Sports are looking for a new manager, after Joby Edwards announced that he will quit at the end of the season.

Edwards oversaw Launton's rise into Division 1 West of the Sport Italia Hellenic League, but will step down after four years with the club.

Chairman Mark Walton said: "We thank Joby for all his hard work and hope that he will stay on at the club in some capacity.

"He took the club to a new level this season, and for that we are all especially thankful."

Edwards was unavailable for comment.

The club are now looking to fill the vacancy of first team manager, and any interested parties should apply in writing to Launton Sports FC, c/o 1 Dickens Close, Bicester, Oxon, OX26 2NG. The closing date for applications is April 30.

Tomorrow, Launton travel to Cricklade Town.

Clanfield are without defender Chris Hunt for their home clash with Wootton Bassett Town.

Hunt broke an arm during the midweek victory against leaders Old Woodstock.

Midfielder Steve Olphert (ankle) is also out, as is Adam Lock (knee).

However, Clanfield are boosted by the return of striker Sean McKeon, who has rejoined from Cinderford Town.

In the Premier Division, title-chasing North Leigh, buoyant from their midweek Oxfordshire Senior Cup victory, have their final home game against Lydney Town.

Karl Dodds returns after missing the final through work commitments, but Tony Grant (hand) is still missing.

James Kyberd returns from a five-match suspension as Bicester Town sign off for the season at home to Pegasus Juniors.

Boss Tim Fowler is looking for a positive finish after a tough season, but he is enthused by his crop of talented youngsters.

He said: "We've played a lot of young players this season, and perhaps we've expected a little bit too much of them, but they've done an exceptional job.

"It's been a learning curve for the young lads, and if I can add a few wise old heads, it would give us a good balance."

Kidlington will be without keeper Steve Benbow (damaged fingers) as they host Wantage Town.

Also missing will be Morgan Williams, Danny Warne and Danny Wise, but Lewis Gabbidon and Mark Burton return.

Abingdon Town give late fitness tests to defender Ian Smith and striker Carl Bloomfield ahead of their home match with Hook Norton.
