Supersub Danny Williams stunned Stonesfield with the last kick of the game as Rover Cowley stretched their lead at the top of the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division to seven points with a 1-0 victory.

In a mediocre game, there were few clear-cut chances, before Rover keeper Brian Kirk's long clearance found Williams, who unleashed an unstoppable shot into the far corner past Stonesfield stopper Chris Days.

The win keeps Rover seven points clear at the top, but second-placed Chadlington still have two games in hand.

Chadlington kept up their challenge with a 4-0 victory over Garsington.

Lee Keyes almost put Chadlington in front midway through the first half, but his shot was turned away.

After a goalless first half, Chadlington went in front in the 53rd minute with a left-footed shot from Keyes.

Garsington midfielder Liam O'Callaghan was then sent off for a second booking, and Chadlington took full advantage.

Keyes added a second, Robbie Wyatt netted direct from a free-kick and substitute Dave Herbert wrapped up the points with a goal two minutes from time.

Kennington saw off Adderbury Park 2-0.

Eynsham romped to a 4-0 victory at Worcester & Bletchingdon, with goals from John Crump (2), Matthew Phillips and Pete Higgins.

BCS Bardwell lost 2-1 at home to Horspath, despite taking an early lead from the penalty spot.

Sean Murray was brought down inside the box, and Chris Please stepped up to smash home the penalty.

Horspath levelled before half-time through Chase, then took all three points in the second half when the ball rebounded off the back of Simpson into the net.

Enstone were pegged back to 2-2, before running out 4-2 victors at Watlington.

They raced into a 2-0 lead, before the home side levelled through Simon Godfrey and Nick Skiller.

However, Enstone restored their two-goal advantage, with Tony Bott, Dave Stevens, Gareth Benfield and Dean Blake their scorers.
