North Leigh 3 (Allen 54, 73, Mussell og 86)

Two second-half goals from Chris Allen set up title-chasing North Leigh's hard-earned victory away to Pegasus on Saturday.

The win keeps North Leigh right on the heels of Premier Division leaders Almondsbury Town, who are ahead on goal difference and also have a game in hand.

The other title contenders, Hungerford, lost 2-1 at home to Ardley.

North Leigh dominated play in the first half, with Allen, Mark Simms and Joe Burnell all going close or being denied by keeper Stuart Turpin.

At the other end, the visitors were fortunate to survive an isolated attack, with the ball rebounding off a post.

The breakthrough came after 54 minutes when a curling Andy McCabe cross to the far post was prodded home by Allen Constant pressure on the home goal produced a further goal when Allen scored direct from an inswinging corner, which the home keeper failed to cut out.

The three points were secured when Paul Cooper's shot was deflected past the home keeper by Pegasus defender Lee Mussell.

Wantage 1 (Langford 58)

Wantage failed to assist their Oxfordshire neighbours North Leigh, as the leaders sealed a competitive game in the final minutes.

The hosts, who ended with nine men, presented the final two goals on a plate, to give a scoreline which flattered Almondsbury.

Wantage's Danny Keen was sent off on the half-hour, for retalition following a heavy tackle.

The referee also dismissed Almondsbury's Matt Emery, who had appeared to be peripheral to the incident.

Kane Ingram gave Almondsbury the interval lead with a simple drive past Wantage keeper Luke Alford.

The second half saw Wantage replace a limping Chris Copp with striker Paul Day, and they soon drew level with a close-range effort from Ellis Langford.

Simon Gilbert restored the visitors' lead with an unstopabble shot, but only a brilliant save by their keeper Danny Holdcroft prevented Adam Learoyd levelling.

In the 79th minute, Wantage were reduced to nine men when Danny Allen hauled down Kabba Sahr as he broke away.

Brad Andrews punished Wantage further by driving home in the resulting free-kick. Sahr added the final goal in the 89th minute.

As Witney opened their doors for their second 'community free admission day', the visitors from Flackwell spoilt the party by securing a draw.

After a goalless first half, Witney had the strong wind at their backs in thec second.

But it was Heath who took the lead when Nathan Jack sent a powerful low shot past keeper Chris Webb.

After numerous chances, Witney finally scored when Jon Steedman whipped in an inch-perfect corner, and Andy Marriott got up to power a header home.

Flackwell almost snatched the points through Riccardo Cannon got, but a combination of Webb and a post kept the ball out.

Lydney Tn 3 (Timms 83, Clark 85, Macklin pen 87)

Bicester Tn 3 (Houlihan 8, Ames 35, Phipps 78)

Bicester returned from the Forest of Dean shattered after letting slip a three-goal advantage in the last seven minutes.

Young striker Sam Houlihan put Bicester into an early lead on his return, and then set up the second for Dan Ames, following a corner, before half-time.

In the second period, Bicester continued in the ascendancy and made it 3-0 in the 78th minute when Dan Phipps crashed home from close range after a corner.

Bicester's young defence became hesitant in a hailstorm.

Lydney's Matt Timmins crashed home their first in the 83rd minute.

And after Timmins's effort had been brilliantly saved by Bicester keeper Tom Macnamara, Danny Clarke, looking off-side, tapped in to make 3-2.

With three minutes left, Joe Macklin scored from the spot, after a rash challenge, to complete Lydney's comeback.
