Former Oxford United star Kevin Brock has spoken of his delight at getting back into football after he was appointed manager of Sport Italia Hellenic League Premier Division side Ardley United.

Although he does not officially take over until after the end of the season when boss Dan Still steps down due to work commitments, Brock says he is looking for his new team to break into the top five next term.

Brock, 44, had a highly-successful seven-year reign at Banbury United where he steered them to the Hellenic League title and promotion to the Southern League Premier Division.

He left at the start of the season due to a row over budget cutbacks, before having a spell as assistant boss at Woodford United.

He jumped at the chance to join Ardley after a phone call from chairman Norman Stacey.

"It's an opportunity to get back into football," said Brock.

"I know there is not a lot of money to spend, but I know what my budget is.

"It's going to be difficult to break into the top five, but North Leigh showed us what is needed.

"Ardley have been very stop-start this season. We will need to get some consistency.

"If we can get four or five players to add to the ones that are here, I don't think we will be far away."

Ardley have re-signed striker Ryan Wiffen from Winslow for tomorrow's trip to AFC Walling- ford.

They will be without Adam Beckett (thigh), Tom Green (knee) Darren Beckett (thigh) and Adam Richmond (groin).

Steve Garbutt (knee) and Andy Prescott (ankle) are doubtful.

North Leigh will be without Jamie Jackson (hamstring) and Simon Futcher (suspended) as they go for their ninth consecutive away victory at Carterton.

Luke Brandon is unavailable for Witney United's trip to Lydney Town.

JP Mills (hamstring) and Christian Perkins (groin) are doubtful, but Neil Maskell and Liam Illsley return.

Bicester Town are without Paul Spittle, James Kyberd (both suspended), Nigel Emsden (injured) and Tom McNamara (unavailable) at home to Harrow Hill.

Jeff Simmonds replaces the unavailable Tom McNamara in goal.

Steve Benbow, Nathan Meade and Jemaine Ferreira are back when Kidlington travel to Hook Norton.

Danny Warne, Emmett McGovern and Lewis Gabbidon are suspended.

Abingdon Town have a doubt over defender Luke Beauchamp ahead of their trip to Almondsbury.

In Division 1 West, Reece Winney (ankle) misses Clanfield's home match against Purton.

Pete Osborne (groin), and knee injury victims Jason Court and Adam Lock are doubts. Chris Connell returns.
