United have had Ciaron Brown and Jodi Jones called-up by Northern Ireland and Malta respectively, ruling them out of the Fleetwood fixture.

Meanwhile, youngsters James Golding and Erion Zabeli will go away with the Republic of Ireland Under 19s and Kosovo Under 19s respectively.

Fleetwood’s Paddy Lane has also been called-up by Northern Ireland, with the Cod Army expecting more players to be selected before the weekend.

It means two of United’s four September Saturday games have been postponed, after last weekend’s trip to Shrewsbury Town was called off following The Queen’s death.
