Didcot Town's former Andover strikers Ashley Vine and Vinny Rusher will be aiming to shoot down their old teammates when they travel to the Hampshire club for Saturday's Division 1 South & West clash.

Vine joined the Railwaymen at the start of the season, while Rusher, who played 200 games for the Lions, moved to Didcot from Thatcham Town last week.

Ex-Basingstoke frontman Vine missed last weekend's 5-0 thrashing of Newport IOW after completing a ban, while Rusher netted on his debut against the basement boys.

"I signed Vine after he scored for Andover against us in both games the previous season," said Didcot boss Stuart Peace.

" Vinny is a natural goalscorer. He scored 13 goals for Thatcham in only a handful of games.

"When players go back to their old clubs they often have something to prove.

"I know sometimes it can have a negative effect, but I would like to think they will make a big difference for us."

Peace added it was vital his side kept their nerve in the run-in.

"Other teams have slipped up - Fleet have lost three on the bounce - but it's up to us to keep the pressure on Farnborough. Over the last six or seven weeks the lads have been really terrific."

Didcot will be without Andy Williams (hamstring) and Liam Hope (work), while Jack King is a doubt (heavy cold).

Abingdon United will be without Nathan Woodley (hamstring), Tom Franklin (suspended) and Daniel Meade (unavailable) as they look for their third win in a row at the expense of visitors Marlow.

Slater's men have beaten form sides Uxbridge and Hillingdon Borough in their last two games and want to add another scalp.

Banbury United will be missing Wayne Blossom (suspended), Jody McKay and Matty Gooderick (both unavailable) when they host Gloucester in the Premier Division.

Andy Baird and Stuart Bridges are injury doubts.

Oxford City are in action in the annual Town v Gown match at Iffley Road (ko 2pm).
