Henley Hawks director of rugby Jason Forster is calling for discipline when their National 2 survival battle continues at Southend tomorrow.

Hawks lie 12 points from safety with five games to play and have won only once since November, but they still have nearest rivals Redruth to play on April 19.

Henley's hopes would be even bleaker had Redruth not been deducted ten points for refusing to play the second half of a match at Cambridge after the changing rooms were burgled.

Forster said: "The most important things we have to do are to improve our discipline and refrain from turning over possession.

"The opposition are scoring points because of our mistakes and we are not making the most of our opportunities."

Forster expects to name a largely unchanged squad, but on-loan Wasps wing Mark Odejobi is still on England Under 20 duty.

Lock Rob Hurell (below) is making quicker than expected progress after an eye injury, which was expected to keep him out for four to six weeks.

Southend beat Henley 9-8 at Dry Leas earlier this season thanks to a last-minute penalty.

Wing Ben Rollinson is among those returning to the Witney squad for their away friendly against a Chinnor XV.

Oxford University captain Peter Clarke and centre Tom Gregory start for England Students against Irish Colleges at Hneley tonight (8pm).

Former Oxford junior Dominic Shaw gets the nod at scrum half, while Dark Blues Kevin Davis and Toby Henry are on the bench.

Cambridge's former Radley College pupil James Lumby, who made a big impact in December's Varsity Match is the back row replacement.
