Adam Gunn's joy at hitting a hat-trick for Heyford Athletic Res turned to despair as he suffered a suspected broken ankle in a 3-3 draw at Fenny Compton Res in Division 3.

Fenny Compton raced into a two-goal lead, before Gunn's eventful day started when he missed a penalty.

Heyford then had centre back Neal Beasley sent off.

Gunn pulled a goal back before half-time, and he struck twice more after the break only to suffer his serious injury in the 69th minute, with the game being held up for half an hour.

When play resumed, Fenny Compton grabbed an equaliser in the last ten minutes.

Alan Reading, the league's top scorer, added a brace to his tally as Bodicote Sports fought back to win 4-2 at Kineton in their Premier Division top-of-the-table battle.

Alan Robinson and Nick Smith, with his 200th career goal, put leaders Kineton in charge at half-time.

But Bodicote stormed back after the break with Sam Belcher, Tony Beckham and Reading's double giving them victory.

Broughton & North Newington's Danny Carter was sent off in the 1-1 draw at home to Arncott.

Anthony Davison gave Arncott the lead against the run of play midway through the second half.

Noddy Bedding headed Brougton's equaliser, before Carter saw red.

Cropredy ran out 3-1 winners at home to Hethe in a scrappy encounter.

Robbie Canaway opened the scoring only for Hethe to equalise following some poor defending.

Matthew Jones restored Cropredy's lead before the break and Steve Sneath clinched victory in the second half.

Neil Hailstone's late equaliser gave Finmere a 2-2 draw at home to Hornton.

Kerry Cracknell had netted Finmere's opener.

Matthew Blenford scored in each half to give Slade Farm United a 2-0 win at Ruscote in Division 1.
