OXFORD United will be without eight players for tomorrow’s Carabao Cup second-round tie against Crystal Palace.

Marcus McGuane (calf), James Henry and Alex Gorrin (both hamstring) have joined the U’s growing injury list since Saturday’s draw against Morecambe.

Elliott Moore missed the Sky Bet League One clash at the Kassam Stadium with a quad issue and all four players will go for scans this week.

It comes after Marcus Browne suffered a knee injury against Lincoln City last Tuesday, which saw him join Yanic Wildschut, Sam Baldock and Josh Murphy in the treatment room.

The 24-year-old is set to see a specialist on Friday after an initial scan on Tuesday suggested the problem was less serious than initially feared.

Meanwhile, McGuane will go for his scan tomorrow after he was forced off late on against Morecambe with a calf injury.

It leaves United with only 12 fit senior outfield players for the Palace clash, plus two goalkeepers.

Youngsters Tyler Goodrham, Slavi Spasov, James Golding and Gatlin O’Donkor have already been called upon this season.
