OXFORD United will host Premier League side Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup second round.
The U’s were handed a home tie against Patrick Vieira's men in this evening’s draw.
The game will take place in the week commencing August 22, with ticket details to be released in due course.
Palace, who finished 12th in the top flight last season, are one of 13 Premier League sides entering the competition at the second round.
The teams last met in a competitive match on Boxing Day 1998, when Dean Windass scored in a 3-1 defeat at The Manor Ground in the second tier.
They faced each other at Selhurst Park in a pre-season friendly two years ago, with the U's losing 2-1 after Cameron Brannagan put them in front.
It is United’s second successive home game in the competition following last night’s clash with Swansea City.
The U’s beat the Sky Bet Championship outfit 5-3 on penalties after fighting back from 2-0 to draw 2-2 in 90 minutes.
