HOLDERS Ardington & Lockinge marched into the semi-finals of the North Berks Cup with a 3-0 victory against Harwell International.

Harwell keeper Gary Clarke denied Tom Weeks and Ardington's Ben Sutton hit a post before Chris Whitworth fired the champions ahead.

Six minutes later, Gareth Fenton doubled the lead from close range.

It was all over for Harwell on 65 minutes when Sutton was felled in the area and Andy Cooper smashed in the resulting spot-kick.

In the league, Tom Ingram scored a late winner as Blewbury beat Division 1 leaders Harwell Village 2-1.

Johnny Pearce gave Blewbury an early lead and although Matthew Aplin levelled with 15 minutes left, Ingram slotted the winner.

A double from Luke Westell proved in vain as Marcham were crushed 7-2 by second-placed Lambourn Sports.

Matthew Pedder (2), Adrian Mooney (2), Ben Hopkins (2) and Darren Jones netted for Lambourn.

Drayton were held to a 1-1 draw by Saxton Rovers.

After a goalless first-half, Drayton took the lead through Danny Curran only for Craig O'Connor to level.

Coleshill United boosted their hopes of escaping the drop with a 5-2 win at fellow strugglers Steventon, thanks to goals from Adam Legg (2), Adam Sly, Adam Brooks and Paul Moss. Ben Parry (2) replied for Steventon.

Faringdon Town eased to a 2-0 win against Wootton & Dry Sandford for the third time this season.

Paul Hulme fired Faringdon ahead on 62 minutes with a superb free-kick, before Matthew Hickson sealed victory two minutes from time.

Division 2 leaders Crowmarsh Gifford had to come from behind to beat Shrivenham A 3-1.

Shrivenham's first-half opener was cancelled by Danny Keeler, before a brace from Andy Allum in the final 20 minutes saw Crowmarsh ease home.

Vinny Cooper and Michael Hooton were on target for Sutton Courtenay as they beat Long Wittenham 2-1.

Division 3 promotion contenders Ardington & Lockinge Res and Warborough & Shillingford suffered the jitters as they both went down to defeat.

Ardington lost 2-0 at Didcot Casuals for whom Jamie Newport and Tommy Fisher found the net, while Warborough lost 3-2 at Benson Lions.

A long-range drive from David Arscott and a brace by Liam Wilkinson saw Lions race into a 3-0 lead, before Warborough hit back, but it wasn't enough.

Andy Potter took his season's tally to 21 with a hat-trick in ten-man Botley United's 7-0 crushing of Stanford-in-the-Vale.

Carl Parker bagged a brace, while Ben Taylor and Andy Humphreys also netted. The only sour note was the dismissal of Botley's Andy Tomkins.

Harwell International Res continue to pull away at the top of Division 4 after a 4-0 success against Uffington United, thanks to goals from Adam Blaszko, Ben Higgins, Johnny Eudell and Tom MacGregor.

A treble from Dan Gardner helped East Hendred Res to a 5-2 win at Hanney United. Pat Rush and an own goal completed their tally.

Division 5 table-toppers Benson Res went down to a surprise 4-1 defeat at Harwell International A.

Strikes from Barry Tallent, Mark Porter, Rob Johnson and Paul Gholami gave them a good chance of catching the top three.

Eamonn McGowan smashed a five-timer as Challow Res thrashed Grove Rangers A 6-2.

Tony Williams got their other, while Jonathan Wells, on his debut, was among the Grove scorers.
