Abingdon United manager Andy Slater says his side must stand up and be counted or risk being sucked into the Division 1 South & West relegation quagmire, starting with tomorrow's home game against Hillingdon Borough.

Although, the Northcourt Road outfit are 13 points from second-from-bottom Bracknell, Slater is anxious his charges, who haven't won for seven games, to start winning.

"We've got a couple of big games coming up," said Slater. "We're not in a relegation fight, but if results don't pick up we could be.

"I told the players after the Windsor defeat (they lost 3-1) that they have to be men and not skulk around feeling sorry for themselves.

"They need to stand up and be counted - starting with Saturday."

Nathan Woodley (pictured, right), Tom Franklin and Billy Beechers are back from suspension.

Oxford City player-boss Justin Merritt says his side have nothing to fear when they travel to fellow promotion chasers Farnborough.

The Hampshire side boast striker Michael Bartley, who recently joined from Didcot Town, and former Oxford United defender Dave Woozley among their line-up.

"Although we lost 3-2 at home against Farnborough, I'm not reading anything into it. Both sides have changed significantly since then.

"It's another big game, but if we can get a good result then that will give the players some more belief."

"Michael is a big, strong boy. Marcus Richardson and Byron Bubb are also dangerous, so we will have to be at it."

City will be without ankle injury victims Ricky Allaway and Jon Gardner, and Jermaine McSporran (stomach problem).

Didcot Town welcome back Andy Parrott for their trip to AFC Hayes.

He missed their midweek Errea Cup quarter-final win against Hillingdon.

Former Thame United player Greg Williams is set to make his Banbury United debut when they host Mangotsfield in the Premier Division after signing from Oxford City.

Boss Kieran Sullivan said: "He's a strong midfielder and the type of player we have been looking for all season."
