NORTH Leigh have made their first new signing ahead of the Pitching In Southern League Premier South season.
Defender Matt Nutt joins the Millers from Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One side Pershore Town.
The centre back makes the jump from step six of non-league for North Leigh’s first season at step three.
Nutt joined Pershore last November and made 21 appearances, scoring twice, to help the Worcestershire outfit finish fifth in the table.
He is North Leigh's first new arrival of the summerm with 15 players who helped win promotion from Southern League Division 1 Central signing on for next season.
The Premier South campaign starts on Saturday, August 6.
