CHINNOR Kites will play in the fourth tier of English rugby next season after their promotion was confirmed.
The Thame-based side will compete in NC1 South East (West) in only their second competitive campaign since women’s rugby returned to Kingsey Road.
The Kites won NC2 South West (North) in 2021/22, ending the season with a 100 per cent record.
With their promotion confirmed by the Rugby Football Union, Chinnor can look forward to an exciting set of fixtures in 2022/23.
Top of the list will be a derby with Oxford Quins, while Wasps 2nd and London Welsh are among the other sides in the ten-team division.
