EDDIE Pepperell today begins his campaign at a tournament that has been very good to him in recent years.
The Abingdon golfer gets under way at the Betfred British Masters, where he claimed one of his two European Tour wins in 2018.
Pepperell was also among the front-runners at last year’s event, leading by one shot into the final day before eventually tying for 11th.
The Frilford Heath member will hope for a similar showing at The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield, where he tees off at 12.50pm.
Pepperell’s playing partners on the opening day are Scottish pair Scott Jamieson and Grant Forrest.
