EDDIE Pepperell will look to pick up where he left off in Spain this afternoon.
The Abingdon golfer begins his opening round at the Catalunya Championship at 2.05pm BST, alongside home golfer Alvaro Quiros and German Matti Schmid.
Pepperell finished with a flourish at last weekend’s ISPS Handa Championship in Tarragona, carding a five-under par 65 on day four to tie for 16th – his best result since May 2021.
It was the first time the Frilford Heath member has made the cut in 2022 and propelled him back into the world’s top 500. He is now ranked 472.
