OXFORD City Stars travel to Invicta Dynamos on Saturday, hoping to put their narrow defeat to high-flying Slough Jets behind them.
The Stars fell to a 5-3 home defeat against the Jets on Sunday, in NIHL Division 1 South.
Against the Jets, the Stars ended the first period locked at 0-0, but went behind to Christian Mohr early in the second period.
The Stars levelled through Josh Florey, but Mohr restored the Jets’ lead with a penalty.

Once again, the Stars levelled through Josh Oliver, however Jacob Minter made it 3-2 right before the end of the second period.
Conor Redmond made it 4-2 to the Jets, before Mohr added a fifth.
Theo Bundock pulled it back to 5-3 with just over eight minutes to play.
Invicta Dynamos lost 8-4 at home to Junior Raiders, last time out on Sunday.
The Stars, in eighth, travel to sixth-placed Dynamos on Saturday.
