ROSS Jenkins is aware the Vanarama National League South table can be deceiving as Oxford City visit Billericay Town tomorrow.

The Essex outfit are bottom of the pile, but a run of ten points from their last five matches has boosted their survival hopes.

Billericay followed up last Saturday’s win at Hungerford Town with a 2-1 triumph over seventh-placed St Albans City on Tuesday night.

City are aiming to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat at Ebbsfleet United and Jenkins knows they cannot cut corners against the basement boys.

The head coach said: “It’ll be another tough one.

“Their tails will be up, but it’s down to us to prepare properly, go there with the right mentality and go again.”

City are fourth in National League South going into the weekend’s games.

Banbury United can take another step towards the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central title when they welcome Hednesford Town tomorrow.

The Puritans are 17 points clear of second-placed Coalville Town, who have two games in hand.

In Division 1 Central, North Leigh host Welwyn Garden City in a mouth-watering clash.

The Millers, in fourth, are a point and a position above their opponents.

Seventh-placed Thame United visit Barton Rovers and Didcot Town are at home to FC Romania.

Elsewhere, Kidlington travel to Biggleswade and Wantage Town entertain Ware as they aim to climb off the foot of the table.
