CAMERON Brannagan revealed all about the Instagram post that had Oxford United fans in stitches this week.

The midfielder experienced a different type of sporting theatre, attending the PDC World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace.

U’s supporters got to share the enjoyment, thanks to one particular Instagram photo.

The midfielder posted a picture of a sign saying ‘Matty Taylor hates the Gas’, in honour of United fans’ chant about their striker’s Bristol Rovers past.

“There was a guy you give your board too and he writes it, but I told him to write it,” Brannagan revealed.

“We like to have a laugh, it’s only a joke and I think everybody knows that.

“We all laughed about it the next day when we were in here and it’s good to see the fans were loving it too.”

Karl Robinson was probably the last person he expected to see, but the U's head coach happened to be there too.

“I absolutely loved it, it’s the first time I’ve been,” Brannagan said.

“I didn’t mean to bump into the gaffer, but it was good to see him and we had a laugh.

“It’s nice to let our hair down and enjoy ourselves.

“The atmosphere was great, I’d definitely recommend it.”
