FORMER Nottingham Forest trainee Victor Sodeinde has joined Banbury United.

The striker, 21, signs from Vanarama National League North side Hereford and is available for tonight’s trip to Peterborough Sports.

Sodeinde joined Forest in 2018 and featured regularly for their Under 23s in 2019/20, before a loan move to Hereford later that season.

He returned permanently in October, but found game-time limited.

Banbury would go five points clear at the top of Pitching In Southern League Premier Central if they beat third-placed Peterborough.

In Division 1 Central, Kidlington travel to Welwyn Garden City hoping to end a three-match winless run.

The Greens are 17th in the table, with their opponents ninth.
