KARL Robinson says Oxford United are relaxed about today's meeting with Sky Bet League One leaders Rotherham United.

The U's have seven players out with Covid, plus Jack Stevens, Alex Gorrin, Sam Winnall and possibly Ryan Williams also unavailable.

Those who are isolating are scheduled to return before next Saturday’s trip to Sunderland, but United must negotiate one more game with reduced numbers.

Although the U’s are extremely light on defensive players, their midfield and attack remains strong.

And Robinson is urging his side to play without pressure as they seek a memorable win.

United's head coach said: “We’re going to have fun, we’re going to enjoy it.

“We’re going to embrace the good, the bad and the ugly of the challenges that lie ahead.

“My players can’t do anything wrong, it’s that simple.

“It’s a free hit – if we win it’ll be spoken about for a long time internally, I can guarantee you that.

“We have no fear, but we don’t have much fear anyway.

“We go to places and we almost don’t care who we upset, we believe in who we are.

“This is why we sometimes upset opposition clubs – I’m certainly not on most other fans’ Christmas card lists.

“There’s a slight level of confidence that goes with it as well and we feel we can embrace the challenge that the game’s going to throw at us.”
