OXFORD City extended their unbeaten run to seven league matches with a point at top of the table Dartford, writes George Rickwood.

The 0-0 draw in Vanarama National League South was not short of action though.

Dan Roberts headed wide for the hosts, before Dan Matsuzaka did the same from a Nana Owusu corner.

Zac McEachran then pressed high and won the ball, feeding it to Harvey Bradbury, whose dinked effort came back off the post.

Dartford had a one on one of their own before the break, however Ben Dudzinski was quickly out to smother the chance from Roberts.

After the interval, the woodwork again saved City.

Jack Jebb bent a shot towards the top corner, with the ball rebounding off the crossbar and to Ade Azeez, who nodded home albeit from an offside position.

Substitute Jacob Bancroft came on and caused problems with his pace, drilling a shot from a tight angle at Dan Wilks in the Dartford goal.

Joe Iaciofano was then denied by an excellent block from Josh Hill at point-blank range.

Dudzinski kept out Hill from six yards after a goalmouth scramble, and got down low to keep out a free kick from 25 yards out.

Zico Asare then cleared off the line when Azeez thought he had won it with a measured flick over Dudzinski.

The result means City remain in fourth, after keeping their fourth clean sheet in five.
