OXFORD United Women face a tantalising FA Cup tie at Fulham tomorrow as two in form teams go head to head.

Liam Gilbert’s side have won their last four and are fifth in the Women’s National League Southern Premier.

Meanwhile, the home side are unbeaten in seven games and sit second in the London and South East Regional Women’s Football League.

United top scorer Beth Lumsden, with 10 league goals this season, has joined the men’s side in training in recent weeks after Karl Robinson invited her to work with the sports science team and add a couple of extra training sessions to her week.

Previewing the Fulham match, she told the club website: “We are unbeaten at home but have dropped points away so we know we can improve on that.

“Sunday is a different thing though.

“It’s the FA Cup, it’s away, but we are going to go there determined to get through and see how far we can go.”

The match is at Fulham’s training ground, Motspur Park, with a 2.30pm kick-off.

United have been drawn at home to Billericay Town in the second round of the Women’s National League Cup.

The home league game against Southampton will be rearranged.
