OXFORD City Stars fell to eighth in NIHL Division 1 South on their blank weekend.
Dean Birrell’s side dropped a place due to Bristol Pitbulls’ 6-1 win over Raiders Junior.
Stars return to action on Saturday, when they are on the road at sixth-placed Chelmsford Chieftains (5.45pm).
The Oxfordshire outfit claimed their first two victories of the season last month, but their brief revival has stalled.
A fortnight ago, they lost 5-3 at Solent Devils before going down 3-0 at home to Bristol Pitbulls.
It was Mike Whillock’s final game for the club, with the influential forward set to emigrate to Sweden with his family.
Stars are not back at Oxpens until next Saturday, when they host leaders Streatham.
