OXFORD United Women take on another high-flier when they visit Crawley Wasps today.

Liam Gilbert’s side are fourth in FA Women’s National League Southern Premier, a point and a place above their hosts.

It starts a big week for United, who visit Hounslow Women on Wednesday before hosting rivals Swindon Town in the League Cup preliminary round next Sunday.

The U's are in fine form, beating Bridgwater United 3-0 seven days ago to stretch their unbeaten run to five matches.

Rachel Panting, who made her debut in that game, said: "In this league every game is big and ultimately we want to progress as far as we can.

"We've got a good run coming up and hopefully we'll keep getting maximum points."

Crawley have won their last two matches and thrashed London Bees 5-1 a fortnight ago.
