GAVIN Whyte has been called-up by Northern Ireland for the next round of World Cup qualifiers.
The winger is part of the squad for the trips to Switzerland on October 9 – when Oxford United are due to visit Sunderland - and Bulgaria three days later.
Black Cats duo Tom Flanagan and Corry Evans have also been selected and with further call-ups expected the Sky Bet League One clash is understood to be in doubt.

Whyte was an unused substitute in Northern Ireland’s two qualifiers last month, but played 90 minutes of their friendly in Estonia.
It saw the Cardiff City loanee miss United’s 3-1 defeat at AFC Wimbledon.
The 25-year-old, who has played nine U’s games this season, has scored three times in 20 games for his country.
