CHINNOR will aim to end Cinderford’s 100 per cent record in National League 1 this Saturday.

The Gloucestershire side travel to Thame boasting two wins from their first two matches, having seen off Caldy and Blackheath in the opening fortnight of the season.

Chinnor did not play last weekend, but are looking to follow-up their 34-21 victory over Sale at Kingsey Road on September 4.

They are up against a familiar face in the form of forward Joe Dancer, who made 42 appearances for the club between 2018 and 2020.

Meanwhile, Henley Hawks have postponed their game for the second weekend in a row as they continue to grieve the death of second row Dave Hyde.

The Oxfordshire side were due to visit Redruth in National 2 South.

Elsewhere, Oxford Harlequins are targeting three wins out of three in their Oxfordshire derby at Grove.

The hosts started their first campaign back in South West 1 East with a 50-25 defeat to Marlborough last weekend.

Banbury Bulls visit Bracknell in a meeting of the division’s top two.

The north Oxfordshire side are only below their opponents on points difference, so only a win would send them top.

Elsewhere, Witney travel to Beaconsfield as they aim to bounce back from defeats in their first two matches of the campaign.
