ENGLAND are in the final of a major tournament.
These are uncharted waters for many of us, and it almost feels like tomorrow's game is a bonus.
That, of course, is not the case, as the last time England played in a final at Wembley was 55 years ago - these opportunities do not come around often.
Nonetheless, I would still say Italy are favourites.
They have been the best team in the tournament and are now 33 matches unbeaten, with a typically miserly defence and forwards who can fashion a goal out of nothing.
The quality of football in their wins over Belgium and Spain was breathtaking - if they continue in that vein, they will be very hard to beat.
But England have more than just home advantage.
Yes, the winning goal against Denmark came from a soft penalty, but Gareth Southgate's side deserved to triumph.
Every one of the manager's selections have been spot on and England are yet to concede a goal in open play, while Harry Kane has hit form at the right time.
Maybe, just maybe, they can create memories that would rival 1966.
I know that was then, but it could be again...
