Youngsters have been benefitting from coaching courses run by Oxford United academy players at Peers Technology College, Littlemore.
The 24 students/coaches, who play for United in a national Youth Conference League on Wednesdays, put on a four-week course before Christmas as part of their BTECH sports course at the college.
The training sessions, which attracted around 40 youngsters - including two girls - from years 7-10, covered different aspects from turning, dribbling and ball control to help improve the children's skill levels.
It came after the United lads completed their FA Level 1 coaching qualification - and now it's planned to take the coaching into other schools.
Matty Brandish, of Peers, said the course had been a big success.
"It's giving the 24 students the chance to become confident coaching the children, and giving them the chance to gain valuable time coaching children," he explained.
"But I think the most important thing is that these children are getting free coaching from young Oxford United coaches."
