AN eagle at the 14th made all the difference for Eddie Pepperell in Denmark.
The Abingdon golfer carded a second round of four-under par at Made in HimmerLand, in Farso, taking him to three-under for the tournament.
Pepperell's exploits at the par-four 14th proved crucial as he entered the clubhouse one shot above the projected cut.
Starting the day one-over, the Frilford Heath member birdied the fifth and the ninth, but a bogey at the seventh saw him reach the turn at level par.
Pepperell had work to do, but flew up the leaderboard in the space of two holes.
A birdie at the 13th was followed by his eagle at the 14th and he closed out his round with a string of pars.
It looks set to be the fourth successive tournament the 30-year-old has reached the halfway stage.
