OXFORD United will find out next season's full Sky Bet League One line-up within the next 48 hours.

The U's were beaten by Blackpool in last week's play-off semi-finals, with The Tangerines set to face Lincoln City in this afternoon's final at Wembley (3pm).

Lincoln, managed by ex-United boss Michael Appleton, finished fifth in the table and have not been in the second tier since 1961.

Blackpool ended the regular season third and were most recently in the Sky Bet Championship in 2015.

Today's game is followed by the Sky Bet League Two play-off final tomorrow (3pm), with Morecambe up against Newport County.

The Lancashire club were pipped to automatic promotion on the last day of the season, finishing fourth, while the Welsh outfit were one place and five points behind.

Newport have not been in the third division since 1987, while Morecambe have never been higher than League Two.

United last played Morecambe in 2015/16, when Appleton's side gained promotion from the fourth tier.

The U's visited Newport in the Carabao Cup second round in August 2018, winning 3-0.

A limited number of fans will attend both games.
